SIMMS Inventory Software enables you to assign different ‘names’ for your items and assign as to whether it is a general, customer, or vendor alias. When entering an Alias the system knows exactly which inventory item you are referring to. Your company may call an item an ‘ear bud’ your clients may call it a ‘headphone’ and when you purchase it, it may be called a ‘lobe speaker’. All three can be an alias for the same product in SIMMS.
