SERIAL NUMBER TRACKING
With any inventory system serial number tracking is an essential task to assure accurate inventory tracking, SIMMS will now have this capability as well, you are able to assign the serial number/lot number at the receipt of goods screen or if you do not have the time to scan/enter the serial numbers at that point you can add them later on.
The serial numbers will follow the specific item throughout the system in every transaction you do with that item.

PURCHASING FEATURES
Every time goods are ordered from vendors, contracts to buy and contracts to sell are created. The SIMMS Purchasing Functionality helps keep accurate records of these very important transactions. With every order, details such as shipping method, date required and the name of the person with whom the order was placed must be selected and tracked. In addition, confirmation is required of quantities ordered and prices per item. This module streamlines and organizes the entire purchasing process.

EXPIRATION DATE TRACKING
SIMMS Expiration Date Tracking system tracks an unlimited amount of expiration dates from the time they are received into inventory until the time they are issued. This information is permanently recorded in the system, allowing inventory control personnel access to a wealth of historical and validation information. The information maintained by the Expiration Date Tracking system is extremely helpful in the flow of inventory items that can expire.

RMA/RTV FUNCTIONALITY
To stay competitive, virtually every company needs to process customer returns, and handle defective items by repairing destroying or processing (RTV) Return to Vendor transactions in order to facilitate replacement items. As today’s customers demand a more specialized level of service, tracking and resolving these returns can be an increasing challenge. With the SIMMS Service and Returns feature, returns and replacements can be handled with ease. Handle every return between you and your customer or you and your vendor with one flexible solution.

SALES and INVOICING FEATURES
When a customer calls to place an order, vast information is needed instantly at hand. With SIMMS, the customer’s mailing address and shipping address(es) are always handy, and you will know the availability and location of specific units in inventory, or alternate items if those being ordered are out of stock. Additionally, item prices, quantity pricing, specific customer pricing, costs, and much more will be immediately available.
